To complement natural-stone veneer, 6-X 9-in. Granite City Rustico pavers
were selected for the 4,000-sq.-ft. driveway of the two-story waterfront
home. A charcoal fan design at the entrance of the driveway adjoins an
island of Rustic outlined in Pewter Roma II. A unique asymmetrical design
is created as a circle provides transition to a second island of Rustico.
The outside perimeter is paved with Charcoal Roma I. Pavers for the project
are 60 mm thick, laid on one inch of grated sand over nine inches of compacted
recycled-concretebase.

Tumbled-finish pavers 60 mm thick laid on one inch of grated sand over
an 8-in. recycled-concrete base contribute to an exciting versatility
of design for the 16,000-sq.-ft. pavement enhancing this two-story Spanish
villa. A custom blend of Chamois and Salmon matches the terra cotta roof
tiles. Inserting 6-X 6-in. Salmon Rustico pavers diagonally with Crab
Orchard tumbled triangles to create a border further defined by Chamois
and Salmon Roma circles, the designer accentuates the pattern with spiral
configurations at the main entrance and driveway apron. Crab Orchard tumbled
Holland Stones highlight these focal points. By contrast, the backyard
terrace constructed of sealant-coated Mojave Pisces Paver, a proprietary
unit, exhibits a sleek finish. The pool is surrounded by an oval- shaped
tumbled Holland Stone patio, with contractor-supplied edge restraint system
securing the borders.

Mirroring the panoramic view from a second-floor deck of the catering
hall, 4-in. slim-line paving stones form a blue, wave-like floor pattern.
The 4-ft.-wide asymmetrical border is composed of Mojave, Brown, and Chamois
pavers. Two interconnected squares frame a revolving central design for
which sawcut paving stones are used to create the illusion of motion.
Stones for the 2,000-sq.ft. surface were laid on 1/2 in. fine sand over
waterproof rubber membrane. Crab Orchard fullnose and Pisces Pavers, an
orginal design and registered trademark of the designer, were used for
the main entrance walkway and steps.

The Waterfalls is more than remarkably appointed apartments. Your first
impressions is of an especially breathtaking community. The blend of plush
landscaping with attractive and functional architectural design makes
The Waterfalls an appealing and comfortable haven. Paving stones were
used to pave the pathways that lead around the breathtaking waterfalls.
Paving stones were relaid on 1" of grated sand over 5" of compacted recycled
concrete base. The Gappsi Edge Restraint System was used to secure the
borders of walkways. Circle patterns were used to create a spiral-like
design. A brown overlaid fan design with chamois borders was created to
accent the flag flower bed. Golden brown circles were used for the barbecue
patio, and Roma I, Roma II for the remaining walkways.
